Nose: Lemon & orange zest, oak & tasted barley


Palate: Vanilla, orange zest, nutmeg, cinnamon, more toasted barley


Finish: Sweet, spicy, and long













Benriach Moscatel Cask Finish 22yr 46% Speyside


Nose: Delicious dark orange, rich ripe figs, sweet dates, a bit cocoa & cinnamon


Palate: Rich, velvety dark chocolate, stewed plums, earthly with nutmeg and leather


Finish: Medium long with date and fig notes, spices and light oak tannins.













Springbank Rum Wood 12yr 54.6% Campbeltown


Nose: Rum right up front, molasses, green oak, malty, a bit fruity


Palate: Big spice hit, then summer fruit sweetness, raisins, and again malty


Finish: Long with spice & light rum sweetness














Aberlour Hand filled Batch #A16 Sherry Cask 16yr 56.2% Speyside


Nose: Earthy, woody, burnt raisins, stewed fall plums


Palate: Deep & dark sherry showing good tannins from the wood. Dark stewed fall fruits, unsweetened dark chocolate


Finish: Long and drying, very spicy, with lingering sweetness and orange pith













Talisker Neist Point nas 45.8% Skye


Nose: Smoke, caramel, spice, and vanilla


Palate: Follow through from the nose, with added pear and apple sweetness


Finish: Medium long with delicate sweet spice and smoke, a bit drying

















Kilchoman Feis Ile Oloroso Butt 8yr 56.6% islay

From sweet to peat....

Two Roads Brewing Co "Via Cordis: Abbey Blonde 5.2% CT


Nose: Clove and banana aromas with a slight sweet maltiness.


Palate: Light, easier drinking beer with lager funkiness to it as well as some spice, clove predominantly.


Finish: Short with lingering spice













North Coast Brewing Co "Pranqster" Belgian Style Golden Ale 7.8% CA


Nose: Garden fruit, some floral notes and a bit yeasty, light spice


Palate: Toasted malts, some coriander spice, and sweet tropical fruit


Finish: Some bitterness and lemon zest,  refreshing











Blackrock Brewing Co "Coal Porter" Exclusive 7.9% PA


Nose: Lightly sweet with a roasted malt note


Palate: Very sweet and Coca-cola like, flat


Finish: Short and unsatisfying














Founders "Sumatra Mountain" Imperial Brown Ale 9% MI


Nose: Coffee, malt, chocolate, and smoke. Very alluring!


Palate: Big, dark coffee hit, bittersweet chocolate


Finish: Long & hoppy. Well balanced!
